Dedicated to the memory of Ayaan and Veer Gandhi Somaiya

This site is a tribute to our beautiful twin baby boys Ayaan and Veer Gandhi Somaiya. They came into this world a little too early but they were so loved and will always be remembered.

When we found out we were pregnant with twins we were in shock, but that very quickly turned into excitement and the vision of our future with two little ones running around. Double the trouble, cuddles and love. And we were so excited when we found out we were having two little boys. After the heartbreak of our miscarriage earlier in the year, our life was now going to be perfect and complete.

At every scan, every movement, every day, we fell in love with them more and more. One little one was always wiggling and moving, one was always curled up and chilled.

The world had a different plan though and on the 4th November 2023 the boys made their appearance into the world at only 19 weeks 5 days. Although they were early, they were so perfect. Our Ayaan the wiggler, our Veer the chilled out one - you could tell immediately who was who.

In memory of the boys, both Serena and I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon on 7th April 2024 for our chosen charity, Sands (Still Birth and Neonatal Death Society). The last few months have been incredibly difficult but Sands have provided us with bereavement support during this difficult time, and this is simply a token to show our appreciation.

SACHIN AND SERENA RUNNING A HALF MARATHON!? Yes that's what a lot of people said when we first told them we signed up to this. We aren't runners by any means but we are taking on this difficult task together with the boys in our hearts, pushing us on.

Thank you for any support you can give us.

We will love and miss them always and forever.
